SPT Steel Wall Mount Enclosure Configuration & Custom Options
The SPT steel wall mount enclosure is supplied as an empty enclosure for panel assembly. The standard configuration includes a cold-rolled steel body and door, galvanized mounting plate, PU foamed door seal, removable bottom gland plate with sealing gasket, double-tooth lock, key and fixing hardware.
For project-specific installations, the enclosure can be customized in height, width and depth, with door cutouts for push buttons, meters, switches and HMI panels, bottom or side cable-entry machining, and mounting plate drilling based on approved drawings.
Wall Mount Electrical Enclosure Installation Guide
- Prepare the Mounting Plate
Remove the galvanized mounting plate and mark the positions of DIN rails, wiring ducts, terminals and other electrical components. Component installation and preliminary wiring can be completed outside the enclosure. - Prepare the Cable Entry
Remove the bottom gland plate and drill or punch the required cable-entry holes according to the cable quantity and gland size. Install suitable cable glands and correctly reposition the gland plate gasket. - Mount the Enclosure
Select suitable wall mounting brackets and fasteners according to the wall material, enclosure dimensions and final equipment weight. Confirm that the enclosure is level and securely supported. - Complete Assembly and Grounding
Reinstall the mounting plate, complete the internal wiring and connect the door and enclosure grounding points. Check the lock, hinges, gasket and gland plate before operation.
